As a Muslim, Palestinian, Arab-American, neurodivergent woman, I understand deeply the nuances of growing up with cultural or religious practices, values, and expectations that differ from those around me. My background affords me the ability to create a space based in compassion, understanding, and humility for others to share the parts of themselves they struggle with. I work best with GenZ-ers and Millennials looking for support in areas including cultural issues, trauma, relationships, and navigating adulthood with ADHD.
My approach is guided by the belief that there are no “bad” parts of us. Even the parts that we tend to hate are trying their best to protect us in their own way. As your therapist, my goal is to guide you in connecting with all the parts keeping you safe, to explore and understand them, and to help you find your way back home to yourself.
I want this process to feel as flexible and aligned as possible for you. I have learned and unlearned in order to practice from an anti-oppressive and relational lens, prioritizing emotional safety over loyalty to a specific type of therapy or rigid treatment plan. I consider this work an honor and would love to walk with you on this journey.
