As someone who has navigated the intersections of faith, cultural heritage, and identity, I am passionate about supporting individuals through their college years—a time of growth, self-discovery, and profound change. As a Muslim, Sri Lankan American woman, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities that can come with balancing familial, cultural, and religious expectations, while also striving to carve out your own path.
I know firsthand how it feels to be in the midst of transition, encountering new challenges and opportunities, and sometimes feeling pulled in different directions. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, and affirming space for you to process those experiences, whether you’re grappling with academic stress, managing relationships, addressing mental health concerns, or searching for identity and belonging.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and empowerment. I blend evidence-based techniques with an awareness of sociocultural influences, allowing us to work collaboratively toward your personal goals and healing. Whether you’re the first in your family to attend college, managing intergenerational dynamics, or seeking guidance through life’s transitions, I am here to support and walk alongside you.
